Kat Fanning is an MSLIS candidate at Pratt Institute School of Information, with a certificate in Conservation and Digital Curation. She studied Art History and Chemistry at Southern Connecticut State University and graduated with her BA in 2005. Kat served as Chair of the Pratt Institute Student Chapter of ASIS&T in the 2016/2017 academic year.

Vice Chair

Kate moved from Philadelphia last winter to pursue a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science at Pratt Institute.  Her interests lie in how technology is transforming the role of public libraries within their communities.  She volunteers with the New York Public Library’s mobile library services at Rikers Island and is also a G.A. at Pratt’s Brooklyn Campus Library.
